Ana Victoria Neves is the director of SOUP, a one act play that sees an all-male cast discuss women and their bodies. She answered our “Five With Fringe” ahead of the show.
Describe your show in 3 words:
Controversial conversation starter.
What is your show all about?
Our show is about presenting ideas and carefully thought out dialogue that would provoke our audience to shift their opinions and get involved in open discussions while being patient and understanding of other perspectives.
Favourite place for a post-show drink?
I like to pretend that I’m a little fancy, but have you tried the cocktails at Bar Lafayette?
How would you describe your FW experience?
Fringe World is home to an entire community of artists, and it really shows! I believe that it’s an incredibly inspiring and valuable part of any society, and we’re lucky to have such variety of creations in Perth.
Apart from your show, what other shows would you recommend?
Have you heard of the Macri sisters? Each one has a show coming to Fringe World, varying from Comedy, to Music, to Burlesque! I’d definitely recommend getting your tickets to La Potato Cabaret!, You’re Welcome, and What Did You Expect?
