We caught up with STEPHANIE SOMERVILLE ahead of her show MINUS ONE SISTER and she answered our Five With Fringe questions.
Describe your show in 3 words:
Bold, twisted and surprising.
What is your show all about?
Minus One Sister is Electra furiously wrenched into the present where bloodshed and violence go hand in hand with iPhones, Instagram and goon.
Favorite place for a post-show drink?
The Shadow Wine Bar opposite the State Theatre Centre. My friend and fellow cast member Skye and I are staying at the Alex Hotel on opening night and can’t wait to have a classy glass of red post show there.
How would you describe your FW experience?
Fringe is always the most exciting time of year for me. Perth City lights up, and for the month you’re just thrown into this dreamland of theater, art and fun.
Apart from your show, what other shows would you recommend?
Less Light and Miss Westralia are two must sees! But there are so many great shows being put on this Fringe by WAAPA grads and students, that I would highly recommend going to see and support.
